To create this collection I have treated wax wires as threads, knitted them into delicate wax sculptures and then casted them into stainless steel. Stainless Steel is a new exciting material I loved experimenting with and I really enjoyed the transformation of a tough industrial material into delicate knits. I used vitreous enamels and gold foil for surface treatment.
